Mr. Mitchell Orlando Brackett was born March 18, 1988 to Rev. Phillip and Melisa Brackett in Bruce, MS. He departed his early life on July 17, 2010 in Bruce, MS. Mitchell confessed his belief in Christ at Bridget Chapel M.B. Church at an early age. He later joined Together in Christ in Houlka, MS. He just recently joined Springfield M.B. Church in Abbyville, MS.
Mitchell leaves to cherish his memories his mother Melisa (Ross) Smith of Philadelphia, MS, his father Rev. Phillip (Ruth) Brackett of Bruce, MS, one brother David Lamon Brackett of Philadelphia, MS, one sister Christina Brackett of Bruce, MS, two step-sisters Janice Poindexter of Bruce, MS and Nakietha Poindexter of Tupelo, MS; his grandmothers Clara Jones of Houlka, MS, Karen Gladney of Houlka, MS, and Dealie Woodard of Bruce, MS, his grandfather, Rev. Phillip Brackett, Sr. of Houston, MS.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Annie (James) Buchanan of Pittsboro, MS, G.B. Gladney of Houlka, MS, Dolye Jones of Houlka, MS; one aunt Selena Gladney of Bruce, MS; two uncle Robert Brackett of Pittsboro, MS and Leon Freelon of Pittsboro, MS; one step-brother Jeremy Poindexter of
